    i think the comic designer is trying to say that eating meat is wrong, for instance, if we know deep inside us that it's right to eat vegetables, it's funny to see some meat eater going around trying to convince himself and others that he's eating vegetable (that is: REAL food). Hahahaha. I find it humurous because it makes us think and it shows an element of truth.

    ahem, i'd like to call the food gatherer in the comic a flesh-eater as opposed to the name meat-eater given in previous post.

    in the biblical story of the original garden, there was the original human, the he/she called Adam, [prior to removal of his WOMB of which woman was created … check it out in the Hebrew language). the Creator told his creation that the vegetables of the land would be as MEAT for the people.

    as for sacrificing flesh, creator says (according to biblical) that he desires NOT the sacrifice of animals because he already owns the cattle on a thousand hills! it's in the songs of David called Psalms.

    I love this comic. So often people tell me they are vegetarian when they still eat chicken and fish.
