What’s For Dinner? Spicy Tofu with Broccoli

One of my favorite marinated tofu brands is from a company called Ying Ying Soyfood. They make their signature Gourmet Tofu in six different flavours including Sweet and Sour, Sweet and Spicy, Miso, Tomato, Black Bean, and Curry. The tofu is cut up into small pieces so it’s really flavorful and quick to cook.

Last night I used the sweet and spicy tofu, which is our favorite flavor, I lightly fried it, till it was brown, then added some steamed broccoli and mixed in some hoisin sauce. I love making this because it’s super quick and easy. I also baked some potatoes, which we loaded with Earth Balance, vegan sour cream and imitation bacon bits. I didn’t feel like making a salad, so I opted to cut up some cucumber and tomatoes instead.
